At present only Steve Hallam is authorised to take Cobra Kung Fu gradings
Grade order
7th Kup White sash 6th Kup Blue sash 5th Kup Orange sash 4th Kup Green sash 3rd Kup Yellow sash 2nd Kup Purple sash 1st Kup Brown sash 1st Degree Black sash 2nd Degree Black sash 3rd Degree Black sash
All SH Freestyle Martial Arts Gradings are fully ratified by the Cobra Martial Arts Association.
All students must train for a minmum of 4 months prior to being graded for their 6th kup Blue sash and their 5th kup orange sash.
All students must train for a minmum of 6 months prior to being graded for their 4th kup green sash, 3rd kup Yellow sash and 2nd kup purple sash
All students must train for a minmum of 9 months prior to being graded for their 1st kup brown sash.
All students attending their black sash grading (1st Degree) must train for a minimum of 1 year from their 1st kup brown sash.
A student may qualify for their grading up to 4th kup green sash as long as the following has been achieved
* Trained a minimum of once a week with good attendance * Have had no trouble with the law and at school * Have shown good discipline withion their classes * Maintained the rules and regulations as set by SH Freestyle Martial Arts and the CMAA
A student may qualify for their grading from 3rd kup blue sash up to 1st kup brown sash as long as the following has been achieved
* Trained a minimum of twice a week with a good attendance record * Have had no trouble with the law and at school * Have shown good discipline withion their classes * Maintained the rules and regulations as set by SH Freestyle Martial Arts and the CMAA
A student may qualify for their black sash grade (1st Dan) and above as long as the following has been achieved
* Trained a minimum of twice a week * Have had no trouble with the law and at school * Have trained for a minimum of 1 year from their last grade * Have shown good discipline * Maintained the rules and regulations as set by SH Freestyle Martial Arts and the CMAA
